Placing online orders is a quick and easy way to get your function organized. To start, simply fill in the Location, Date and Delivery Time of your event. Make your buffet or item selections to begin customizing your order. Offline Payments are an available selection at checkout, select this option if you would like to discuss deposits, additional services or other considerations prior to final booking. Business Service Info

Sequence of Events: Once your order has been confirmed, we arrive at your location at the arranged time - with your order in thermal carriers, with all the equipment required for service– we will set up in the designated area providing everything needed for your function. Staffing: Normally, no staff is required on site for smaller events. With numbers over 25 and depending on the complexity of your event we will provide the proper staffing if required/requested. StraightUp catering can provide buffet attendants, wait staff and bartenders if requested/required. Individually Packaged/Drop Off - If you prefer, we can portion all of your meals individually. They arrive piping hot and ready to eat. This works out well if people are not eating in the same area or at exactly the same time. Alternatively, we can prepare your meals and blast chill them so they can be stored and heated safely at whatever time is convenient. Equipment Pick Up: StraightUp will collect any equipment/ totes, etc. once the event is over later that day or next the morning whichever is best for you. Bookings With OFFLINE Payments – StraightUp Catering will send you a physical quote/contract with all items and services and the terms and conditions. This is signed and returned in lieu of a deposit. Deposits: Regular small group/office caterings do not require a deposit, however 24 hours is required for cancellation after which full price will be charged.

Larger Event Info

Sequence of Events: Once your order has been confirmed – we will organize a site visit to make m sure all the elements necessary to the success of your event are accounted for. On the day of your event, we arrive at your location at the arranged time with your order packed in thermal carriers, with all the equipment required for service– we will set up in the designated area providing everything needed for your function. The Buffet/Food tables are provided and set with food warmers and all the necessary platters and serving ware/utensils. Staff There is at least one attendant on site (staffing numbers based upon your requirements). The attendant is there to set up, maintain and reload the buffet -then clear it all up before leaving. Additional service levels include waitstaff for clearing tables, pouring water/wine and basic bartending. These services are based upon availability at the time of booking and budget. PLEASE NOTE: There are no wait staff included with these packages. This is much more of an informal or DIY approach which in turn saves an average $900 -1500 on a guest count of 100. If the location and timing of your program prevents the buffet from being dismantled at that time, we will return the following morning to remove all items (a 2nd delivery fee will apply in those rare circumstances). Buffet Location is usually set where things can be discreetly disassembled and removed. Deposits: A 50% deposit is required to book the date and is non-refundable – if Public Health Directives or extreme weather emergencies prevent the event from taking place, we will honor the deposit and work with you to find a suitable time to reschedule. 72 hours notice is required. In these rare situations a 7.5% re: booking fee will be charged. Please note: There is a 3.5 % handling fee for credit cards – alternate arrangements can be made utilizing our OFFLINE Payment options – email transfers, bank transfer, certified check, cash etc. are all accepted – avoiding the CC processing fee. Paying your Invoice: StraightUP will always provide you with a final invoice or receipt within 2 days after your event. If there haven’t been any additional services or extra deliveries, etc. please feel free to pay the balance upon delivery. If we have provided any extras – we will provide you with the updated invoice for payment by whichever means you prefer. Setup Fee There is a single comprehensive set up fee which includes: set up of buffet minimum of one buffet attendant on site through dinner service all buffet tables chafers (food warmers) fuel buffet serving ware – platters, bowls, baskets, spoons, tongs, etc. disposable plates/cups, utensils, napkins (if chosen instead of rental tableware), clearing down the buffet and all food and beverage service area(s) Rentals: StraightUp will organize any Food and Beverage related rentals for your event by providing you with a comprehensive list enabling you to order your rentals with confidence. These items would include – plates, glassware, knives, forks, napkins, bar/bar tables (if bar service is requested), etc. StraightUp happily provides this service at no charge. We just want to make sure you have everything you need on your day…and nothing you don’t! Basic Bartending Services: StraightUp Catering can provide basic bartending services for your events. A flat fee pays for the first 6 hours, including set up. StraightUp will provide napkins, straws, tongs, ice wells, openers/corkscrews, shot glasses, and plastic drinkware. Glassware is a rental item. StraightUp will provide a detailed list of suggested quantities and selections if requested. The client provides alcohol, mixes, and ice. If you prefer to leave it to us, StraightUp can procure all the items needed for your bar setup and pre-set the day before, including chilling beer and wines. These services and are billed in addition and would be included in your contract. 3rd Party Food: StraightUp must be notified if there are to be additional food items provided by a 3rd party at your event, in which case a waiver of liability must be signed.
